The Last Week of Searching
The other day I got a Facebook update that said, "Out shopping but having no luck." How often do we go in search of the perfect gift only to come up short or clueless? Maybe the problem is that the only perfect gift is the one that God gave us on Christmas day. This year, I have paid particularity close attention to the commercials. I like the Kay Jewelry's commercial that says,"Every Kiss begins with Kay". Then there is the one that has the guy staying home and giving the family lap dog a bath rather that going to watch the game with his guy friends. Then the commercial says, "because you are not that guy" and it tells you to go to a jewelry store to make the perfect purchase. Then there is the Lexus commercial that begins by showing a kid opening the perfect childhood gift of a big wheel. He says,"How can you top this gift". It then fast forwards the scene to the young man as an adult standing in front of his new perfect gift. A brand new Lexus given to him by his wife. But none of those things are really the perfect gift. The perfect gift is the one that came to save us from our sins. He was the incarnated Savior that came as a man but was perfect in the eyes of God. It is through his perfection that we are made perfect. The best gift ever given is so obvious and yet so often gets totally ignored as we go out in search of someone's perfect gift. Maybe the perfect gift to give someone is the love of Christ. Maybe the greatest gift is just being with and around those that mean so much to us. This Christmas offer someone the perfect gift. Offer them the love and grace that was offered by God and is free for all to recieve. Merry Christmas to everyone and may the Savior invade your soul and overwhelm your being with the joy that truily surrounds this Advent season.

The Best Advice I know:
Never let the enemy still your joy and leave you downcast! Instead enjoy what God has given to you,
for; Blessed are the people of whom this is true;
blessed are the people whose God is the
LORD .
( Psalms 144:15 )
Now when we have negative thoughts it draws negative results into our lives.
Likewise, when we think positive
thoughts we draw positive results in as well!
After all when we are downcast it brings on depression,worry and anxiety.
All of those things are known to cause health problems.
So always think positive for;
A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.
( Proverbs 17:22 )
Now I know that; A righteous man may have many
troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all.
( Psalm 34:19 )
So again, do not let the enemy steal your joy on any day.
For you know that;
Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for some-one to devour.
( 1 Peter 5:8 )
So, enjoy what God has planned for you, and show that beautiful smile of yours. For when you smile it shows God's joy within you! Don't worry about the future for it will reveal itself in time.
Aho , Amen , e-men .
